Doctor Kevin E. Carlson earned her AB, cum laude in Biology and Economics from Smith College (1990); her MD, cum laude from Yale University School of Medicine (1994); and did her residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA (1994-97).

She earned a fellowship in Geriatrics and Gerontology from the Harvard Geriatric Fellowship Program (1997-98). Dr. Carlson is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.

She was born in Baltimore, MD and raised in Columbia, MD, and is married, with three children.

Her special interests include: preventative medicine and successful aging.
